The standard applies to cold rolled strip and sheet of general structural steels in rolled widths equal to or greater than 600 mm and thicknesses up to and including 3 mm. The standard covers the requirements on the chemical composition, the mechanical properties and the surface conditions of the steels as well as all specifications concerning the testing of the products.
