The particular requirements of this standard apply to electrical installations of surrounding zones of the basins of swimming pools and the basins of other basins. They also apply to the surrounding zones of all these basins. In these areas, in normal use, the effect of an electric shock is increased by a reduction in body resistance and contact of the body with earth potential.
