This publication presents calculated ampacities for single-conductor solid-dielectric 15 through 69 kV power cables with bonded and grounded shields, copper or aluminum conductors, spaced or trefoilâEUR  configurations, single or double circuits, directly buried or in buried ducts. Ampacities are given forfour different shield resistances for each conductor size. For spaced cables, ampacities are also given for open-circuited shield operation. âEUR Trefoil -Three cables which have been installed in close contact and which may or may not have been bound together at the time of installation.
