Covers hydrogen-cooled generators and synchronous condensers, rotating exiters coupled to any such machine associated auxiliary equipment and parts of buildings, where hydrogen might accumulate. Should be used in conjunction with IEC Publication 34-3. Presents guidance to avoid the accurence, or ignition, of an ignitable mixture of hydrogen and air, either in the machine itself or in and around associated equipment.
