The tentative standard describes a method for the determination of the non-volatile matter content for resins, resin solutions, paints, varnishes and similar coating materials at elevated temerature. Under this method will not find out the real contents; this is conditional on solvent retention, thermal scission and evaporation of low molecular content. The obtained results serve mainly to test at delivery constancy.
