This edition cancals and replaces the ISO Recommendation 559-1967. Gives specifications for tubes conveying gas, water and sewage. It does not apply to: screwed steel tubes, tubes used in buildings, tubes for the conveyance of hydrocarbons and natural gas. Annex A gives schematic representation of the main types of joints; annex B includes coatings.
