Space room heating systems have different influence to the actual heat requirement. Further influence is seen for instance in possible failures of the design of buildings and in slight planning deviations. Therefore the heat requirement which is calculated according to DIN 4701 part 1 and part 2 is enlarged up to 15 %, unless the respective increase in efficiency is achieved by raising the medium temperature above the design temperature. The addition of 15 % is to ensure sufficient heating supply for extreme heat requirements.
