The standard defines a method for determining the constancy of essential parameters of the radiogramms in dental radiography. By these results the constancy of the radiographic systems and the filmprocessing can be checked. Criteria for checking are deviations between the constancy testfilm and films of the baseline test. To measure the dose of the exposure and the desity of films is not mandatory but detecting failures and their reason may become easier.
