This standard constitutes a relation ship between the 7-bit-code and the dot combinations of the 8-dot-Braille. By this the output of digital stored data in a 1:1 translation, character by character without key identification for numbers and upper case alphabetic characters and the input of data by means of a Braille key board for digital recording and data transfer in 7-bit-code is made possible.
