Applicable to wire wrapped terminations of miniature equipment wires with solid conductors, of which two types are considered: type A for use with hand-held and semi-automatic machines, and type B for use with fully automatic machines. Details the additional requirements for low-frequency equipment wires when used for wire wrapped terminations. With the exception of equipment wires insulated with wrapped polyethylene terephthalate, the wire specified in this standard shall meet the requirements of IEC 189-3 or 673.
