This report defines the procedures which can be applied for obtaining and interpreting meteorological data required for the design of an overhead line support. They also contain a method which can be used to evaluate the response of the line components (conductors, insulators, supports) to the effects of wind and temperature. Applies to supports of overhead lines of nominal voltages above 45 kV.
