Determines the ability of components and equipment to withstand the effects of ultrasonic cleaning under specified conditions. Applies to components which are to be cleaned when assembled in equipment, or in printed wiring or circuit boards - before and after soldering and equipment and sub-units which are to be cleaned during repair work. Includes conditions for testing, severities, initial measurements, conditioning, recovery, final measurements and information required in the relevant specification.
