Describes a procedure for fresh waters, soft waters and brines (saline waters), drinking waters and other waters containing only small amounts of organic matter. The procedure permits to determine contents higher than 0,2 g/l. The procedure is not applicable if the quantity of bromine added is insufficient to oxidize the organic matter in the test portion.
