Covers indoor and outdoor light-sensitive, motion (passive infrared)-sensitive, or both light- and motion (passive infrared)-sensitive control units rated 300 volts alternating current (ac) or less and 2000 watts or less that are intended for controlling indoor or outdoor electric lighting fixtures, and that are intended to be employed in accordance with the American National Standard National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70. This is the second public review for this standard. It first appeared in the May 24, 1998 issue of Standards Action and is being resubmitted due to substantive changes to the text.
