The standard describes a method for the determination of relative scattering power of white pigments in media, in which the white pigments are dispersed. Thereby the relative scattering power from the chromaticity coordinates Y of a black ground coated media will be determined. The method is also applicable at mixtures of white pigments with extenders and - in suitable media - at extenders.
