Modular co-ordination is a particular form of dimensional co-ordination in which the range of related dimensions is restricted by utilizing a standard step or module. In shipbuilding the main advantages in utilizing coordinated components occur in the accomodation areas where repetitive components are used which are common to the other industries operating dimensional co-ordination. This part is a companion work to the parts 2, 3, 5 and 5.
