This part of the standard constitutes an introduction dealing in section 1 very broadly with the problems involved in evaluating the effects of ionizing radiations on all types of electrical insulating materials. It also provides in Section 2 a guide dosimetry terminology and methods of determining exposure and absorbed dose and gives in Section 3 methods for calculation of absorbed dose.
