Complements IEC 376 clause 26 by recommendation of a dew point method. It describes a simple apparatus and a test procedure with which the dew point of an insulating gas may accurately be determined. Using solid CO2 as a coolant values of dew point may be measured down to approaching -60 degrees centigrade. In an annex a table with hygrometric data for water vapour, the main features of dew point cell design and the arrangement for measurement of dew points are given.
