Zinc-coated sheet is suitable for applications where resistance to corrosion is of prime importance. The mass of coating specified should be compatible with the desired service life, thickness of the base metal and with the forming requirements involved. ISO 3575 gives the applications, thicknesses and widths for sheets in commercial quality, lock-forming quality and drawing quality.
