Is devided in two chapters. Gives in chapter I a simplified code with designations for the few most used types of aircooled rotating machinery. Provides in chapter II a complete system, which defines the methods of circulation of coolants, classifies these, and gives symbols and short definition which can be used for any method in current use. The purpose of this recommendation is to ensure good understanding between manufacturer and user.
