This report indicates values for the electrical impedance of the human body as a function of the touch voltage, the frequency, the degree of moisture of the skin and the current path. Replaces together with the IEC Publication 479-2 the IEC Pblication 479 issued in 1974. Gives data, which are mainly based on experiments with animals and on information from clinical observations and which are so conserative, that the report applies also to children irrespective of age and weight.
