Establishes uniform requirements for judging the electrical, mechanical and climatic properties of NTC-D thermistors. Describes test methods and gives preferred values of rated zero-power resistance, tolerances, maximum power rating and classification into categories according to their ability to withstand conditions as specified in IEC Publication 68. Gives information for mounting for measurements of directly heated thermistors.
