Forms a part of IEC Publication 92, which deals with electrical installations in sea-going ships. Is not to be regarded as a substitute for, or as additional rules to, the Classification Societies and National Standards. Contains requirements of other Chapters of IEC Publication 92, which apply where appropriate, subject to the exceptions stated in the following clause. Deals in separate Sections with the arrangement of networks, a.c. generators and motors, transformers switchgear, electrical protection and cables, installations, conductors and terminations.
