Recommends standard conditions of exposure time, temperature, atmospheric humidity and liquid immersion for the use in testing electrical insulating materials. The conditions shall be selected so from the preferred values given in this standard, that the primary objekt of conditioning -either greater reproducibility of the test results or determination of the influence of exposure to certain temperatures and humidities or of immersion in liquids on the properties of a material can be achieved.
