Applicable to cables and wires for telecommunication. Specifies a general method of calculation resulting in the maximum conductor resistance R of insulated copper conductors at 20 degrees centigrade. Provides four tables indicating the values necessary for this calculation. The values of R are given in Table IV divided into values for solid conductors and those for stranded conductors.
