The document establishes the requirements for measuring instrumentation, in order to register the feed and gripping forces exerted during operation of hand-held and hand-guided machines and control levers. Furthermore, the procedure for measuring the coupling forces is described. It is therefore applicable as a supplement to the currently valid standards for measuring and assessing hand-arm exposure to vibration.
