Takes into consideration the design of accessories and the influence of the method of installation on the temperature limit. Gives also guidance on the calculation of the permissible short-circuit current in the current-carrying components of the cable. Supersedes the first edition issued in 1982 and includes an appendix dealing with factors that effect short-circuit testing of cablrs and their accessories.
