Covers recommendations for the measurement of the noise emitted by motor vehicles. Describes the measuring equipment, the test site, the vehicle conditions, the driving procedure, the measuring procedure and the interpretation of results. An appendix gives the noise limits recommended by the ECE. No recommendations are made regarding sound level limits. See also SABS 0205.
