This part forms, in conjunction with Parts 1 and 2, the complete standard for lift cables. Details the particular specifications for rubber insulated lift cables of rated voltages of 300/ 500 V having the code designation 245 IEC 70 for braided lift cables, 245 IEC 74 for tough rubber sheated lift cables and 245 IEC 75, for polychloroprene or other equivalent synthetic elastomer sheathed lift cables. Gives in two tables the dimensions of and the tests for these cable types.
