Specifies methods for alternating voltage tests in high voltage testing. The insulation is either subjected to a voltage withstand test at a specified rated withstand voltage or, if the insulation is self-restoring, tested to determine the assured disruptive voltages either by means of direct measurement or a statistical procedure.
