Applies to low-voltage switchgear dealt with in IEC Publication 439-1 and the rules for type testing of temperature rise. For technical or economical reasons, this test is performed on some assemblies only, called PTTA (partially type-tested assembly). For the purpose of assessment of the behaviour of the whole equipment, calculation methods including an appendix with examples are dealt with.
