Covers hot-dip zinc coatings applied after fabrication to components of structural steelwork, weldments, pressings, tubes (pipes), threaded articles, forgings and castings, and to hollow ware, cisterns, cylinders and tanks. The minimum zinc content of the liquid zinc bath is specified, as are requirements for coating thickness and adherence. Permissible defects and permissible repairs are detailed.
