Supersedes the first edition issued in 1966 and Amendment No. 1 (1979). Provides a range of standard tests which may be required for protective coverings consisting of extruded oversheaths when the coverings in addition to protecting underhing metallic layers against corrosion, are required to fulfillspecial functions. Extends the scope compared with the previous issue by including these tests on the above cable oversheaths. The required tests are only approviate to particular conditions and use and do not have to be implemented for normal conditions and use.
