Covers round copper conductors of nominal diameter 0,016 - 5,000 mm (inclusive), covered with a synthetic enamel having a modified polyester base and a temperature index of 180 °C. Requirements, additional to those of Part 1, are given for the dimensions, thickness of enamel (grade), resistance to heat shock and to abrasion, and breakdown voltage.
