Applies to transposers operating in accordance with current television standards. Lays down detailed measuring methods selected for assessing the essential properties of the equipment, and in particular for those characteristics for which unreliable or ambiguous result may be obtained if varying methods are used. Deals with input and output levels, waveform stability, amplifier/frequency characteristics and group delay, differential gain and phase, unwanted modulation of the vision signal, unwanted emissions and unwanted amplitude modulation.
