Gives numerous definitions of technical terms relating to this recommendation and lays down the conditions for testing, visual inspection and marking as well as the mechanical, electrical and environmental requirements. Shall be used in conjunction with IEC Publication 68, Basic Environmental Testing Procedures, Recommendation R 286 and ISO Recommendation R 370.
